“Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.” – William A. Foster

Our young engineers have an important role in moving the Philippine construction industry towards a better future. Your decisions, the products you decide to use and recommend in your profession will have a big impact on creating not only safer structures, but also a brighter future for local manufacturing.

If you choose any product based on the cheapest price that is what manufacturers will be forced to produce. If you wisely decide on selecting quality products that meet the proper standards that provide safety and enduring service, then the Philippines will earn a reputation of manufacturing products that lasts.

Since 1955 when my father Albert Awad established American Wire & Cable Co., Inc., we have held true to our longstanding commitment to the Filipino customer to consistently manufacture products that comply with both local and international standards: no undersized, shorter lengths; no inferior raw materials in our wires and cables.

In my younger years, Japanese products suffered from a perception of being substandard. Now, something “Made in Japan” is synonymous with high quality and dependability in performance. Why? Simply because the people of Japan chose to buy quality products that lasts. The choice that each customer, each dealer, and every engineer makes, especially at this crucial time, has a chance to empower Philippine industry, as well as local manufacturing.

When we choose Quality over cheap, harmful alternatives, this will pave the way for a faster and better development for the country and earn the gratitude of the next generations. Furthermore, this wise decision will give every Filipino access to world-class products that are manufactured locally.
